Ettringen Weekend
Saturday, April 25, 2026On the weekend of 25-26 April there will be a climbing meet in Ettringen, a very cool crack and trad climbing area in Germany. We'll leave on Saturday early morning, sleep on the campsite close by and be back Sunday evening.
This is a weekend for both experienced trad climbers and beginners that want to try their hand crack climbing, topropes will be provided. KVB2 (bolted lead climbing) experience and a good basis of climbing technique and conditioning is recommended though.

Required gear:
- Camping gear: tent, sleeping bag, sleeping mat, gas stove, ...
- Basic climbing gear: harness, helmet, climbing shoes, belay device, ...
- Enough food
Nice to have:
- Rope & quickdraws
- Cams
- Crack gloves
For the transport we'll arrange a carpool (there will be one KUL van).
